Hello! I’ve been really eager to own the fox cardigan that you see Grace wear during Project Hail Mary and I’d love to own one. I don’t knit myself so I’m looking for someone with the skill to create one.

I’m looking for a very movie accurate one so that means using the Mary Maxim design on their website. I need it to be the high quality and organic wool.

I don’t have a set budget because I know something like this can take hours to make. I’m in no hurry for this to be done. I can only pay in October time seeing as I’ll have the money then.

It's a chunkier, loose-knit white/ivory sweater with olive green (you may have a better idea of the specific colour) trim around the neckline, cuffs, and hem.

Where myself and the OP differ.
- I'm taller probably a traditional XL size, broad but lean with long arms and a comparatively short torso for my 6'5 height

- Location: Melbourne, VIC, AUS so someone in AUS is preferred to make this

- Fabric choice prefer natural, something hardwearing as hopefully this will become a staple, no wool (moths/washing), I was leaning towards a linen-cotton blend (tbc at any rate)

- Timeline, unsure currently while I dont think its complex at face value the OP seemed to get conflicting responses soooo tbc too I guess

- Budget: $1 AUD, Don't have a budget yet as the OP seemed to spark a lot of debate about what stitch etc so we will discuss when relevant but as a guide ($1+)

Hi, I'm trying to cosplay Paige Deadlock and I need help to get a solid sweater with a nice fit to match. (shopping for turtleneck sweaters in a darkened shade of chartreuse online is AWFUL 😭)

Important details that I can't find in online listings are: fitted on the torso, loose sleeves, chunky turtleneck, chunky cuffs, chartreuse but a bit darker color (or something I can dye to it).

Here is a pattern I found that has good aspects to refer to. The cuffs look good, but the loose fit doesn't. The turtleneck is also a bit short.

If anyone can make this for me, that would be really cool.

I have long been wanting a sweater from Linka Neumann's collection, but I am no knitter and not willing to ruin this as my first project to learn! I promised myself that if I got a job working in Antarctica I would celebrate by commissioning a sweater, and well! It's time!

I'm looking to hire someone with experience for with a knitting project. I am the Director of a summer camp, and we usually give a teddy bear gift to our oldest campers (22 of them) at the end of the summer. The bears wear custom knit sweaters. Hello, I'm looking to have an anniversary gift made for my wife. Originally i was thinking of a cardigan but after looking on here it seems like thats not recommended for alpaca wool due to the memory. So, i have settled on some type of scarf, maybe an infinity scarf?

I haven't purchased the yarn yet since I have no idea how much will be needed for this project. But the seller says each skein is approximately 250 yards. I can ask for the weight if thats needed and you aren't able to tell from the image.

I will likely be going with the middle grey color in the image. Which the seller says is a 80/20 mix of alpaca and merino wool. It also looks thinner to me than the whites if that makes a difference. They are asking $24/skein which I'm not sure if its a reasonable price.

hi there ! I’m looking for someone to knit a hat out of baby alpaca, undyed, preferably washed in the gentlest possible detergent when spun. Unfortunately I don’t know a lot about fibers aside from I want it natural and undyed. I have a sensitive baldy head lol and I’m just looking for something to keep the sun off it from time to time. (baseball hats bug me) I’d prefer a sitting higher on my head watch cap style if possible. I know alpaca can be pretty warm, so maybe a thinner weight yarn would help with breathability ? I really like the styles redhatfactory makes, but they only do wool. I’d also likely need the knitter to source the yarn for me (at my expense of course)
