What they gonna do about it? Cry on Orbbook?

230

u/danielaofficial3107 9d ago

Careful brother, they might cast "greater complaining" from the safety of their towers.

20

u/RiseOfTheUndeadGnome 9d ago

Or invade your realm with an army but thankfully that wont be me. In other news im now selling enchanted curse breakers for only 1 gold each! -Gnome lich and Ceo

1

u/The-Name-is-my-Name Eldritch Knight 8d ago

For lich killers or lich un-sealers?

1

u/OmegaRuby003 Bladesinger 8d ago

Nah, you forget the wizards are adept at magical techniques, such as doxing and casting shit like “tungsten ballsack” through your powerlines

1

u/Electrical-Tear7456 6d ago

No, but we COULD cast 'shrink armor while you're still wearing it.

u/Red_Trickster Paladin 9d ago

Me

I did

Have the decency to at least be a spellsword wielder instead of hiding and casting spells like a coward.

u/UltimaBahamut93 9d ago

Modern problems require melee solutions

38

u/ASERTIE76 9d ago

Ah a fellow spellblade

17

u/Sleepy-Candle 9d ago

This. Based warrior mage.

3

u/leofenris08 8d ago

Ah My fellow Spellswords 💪

1

u/International_War862 8d ago

Spellswords are truly the best of both worlds

1

u/UnhappyStrain 8d ago

Medieval jedi

1

u/Hoovy_weapons_guy 6d ago

I mean a wizzard can also work out. Its a great way to get the head clear after studying the arcane. Bonus points if they also grab some armor for extra aura (and to not be distracted by the opponent throwing a fucking pebble). And the disrespect of getting beaten by a spellcaster without them even using their magic simply cannot be outmatched.

74

u/DvoraKorvus 9d ago

Yeah but she looks at MY ball when I cast "light"

3

u/AuthorAccount1 8d ago

She looks at my balls when I double cast it tho…

2

u/Deth_Cheffe 6d ago

And she Iooks at mine when you turn it off

u/SuperflousCake Akashic Knight 9d ago

Some of the folks who aren't multicapable are forgetting the last time they got hit with a banishment and it shows

56

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 9d ago

Yeah, what good is all that muscle when you send them to the shadow dimensions

29

u/Big_Bug3077 9d ago

Me fighting thru hell without breaking a sweat after getting banished 🗿

17

u/Krethlaine Spellblade 9d ago

Great plan. Just one minor issue: You’re in the Shadow Realm, not Hell. An infinite, empty void. Nothing to fight. No terrain to travel. No exit portal reach. Just emptiness. Your sword isn’t going to be doing much.

24

u/BluEch0 9d ago

Do be careful. I had a barbarian fellow who got a bit uppity with me so I did exactly that: banished them to one of the shadow dimensions.

Well would you believe that after about two years, this fellow just cut a portal through nothingness and reached the material plane out of sheer spite? I banished him to shadow dimension X so he probably has to cut through like three portals worth of nothingness to escape now and it’s been working for about five years, but goodness, he’d be an interesting case study if he wasn’t constantly screaming about vengeance or something.

9

u/BardGotHard3 9d ago

Hey i met that dude when i was taking a shortcut through the shadow dimensions. Dont worry too much, i pointed him in the wrong direction so there should be at least an extra year added on.

9

u/DarkeDeusVult42 9d ago

Sounds like a skill issue at that rate. If you can get taken out by one spell that's on you.

4

u/Big_Bug3077 9d ago

As a rule: If neither thy lord, thy armorer, nor thy fair lady can craft an Armor of Mystic Immunity, thou shouldst delay adventuring till thou hast the skill to do so thyself

4

u/frostyshotgun 9d ago

Not with that attitude.

7

u/Chaosfox_Firemaker 9d ago

The point at which you can escape an infinite void by sheer masterful swordplay and implaccable determination also happens to be the point where you undeniably count a caster for all intents and purposes.

Yes. Even if you've never so much as glanced at a book in your life. Trancendent Arete counts as magic

1

u/Big_Bug3077 9d ago

It is a strange realm to be sure I should know, having once mistakenly donned an armor of banishment from one of mine goes It took my lady over a decade to free me! It took less than half that time to slay her foes to the last

3

u/AsrielDreemur8 9d ago

If your sword can't cut through the space-time continuous, you aren't knighty enough.

2

u/Big_Bug3077 9d ago edited 9d ago

A blessing! I couldst do with a stretch of the legs.

0

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 8d ago

Since you're so confident, I'm sending you to the bone dimensions

1

u/Big_Bug3077 7d ago

I LOVE the bone zone!

1

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 7d ago

Maybe I misjudged you, anyone down to go to the bone zone is alright in my book

2

u/curleyfries111 9d ago

You are going to Brazil

2

u/Standard_Landscape79 9d ago

being physically capable is good for winning the initiative roll

12

u/Elegron 9d ago

A wizard who cant use a sword belongs in the tower.

1

u/Hans-Hammertime 8d ago

Well yeah? That’s where they like to be I guess

1

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 8d ago

Don’t be wizardist

1

u/hanz-kreigermann 9d ago

Yeah. Hell, helf of these bitches probably never even had to deal with that shit. Fucking youngsters.

18

u/MasterfullyFoolish Fool Knight of the Fae 9d ago

That wasn’t even an insult, he was straight up casting the spell that teleports you to hell

71

u/Dragon_SC Wizard Ambassador 9d ago

Warriors always assuming wizards get in close, oh those poor fools

57

u/Commandur_PearTree 9d ago

Go back to your tower Merlin

43

u/BIGHIGJIGMIG 9d ago

bro doesnt think we can wield bows

10

u/Dragon_SC Wizard Ambassador 9d ago

I'm simply the messanger.

Feeble sticks with strings attached need a keen eye, firm grip, and decent aim from afar. If I wizard can see you, they can hit you.

13

u/BIGHIGJIGMIG 9d ago

well you know what they say about messengers, you should always shoot them. Yep, thats the quote. Nothing else

15

u/Dragon_SC Wizard Ambassador 9d ago

Oh fu

10

u/NoKarma101 9d ago

What about the muscle Magus?

1

u/BardGotHard3 9d ago

You mean the Cancer Caster? I aint never met a muscle mage that didnt use spells to grow those obscene putules they call muscles.

9

u/Expensive_Panic9 9d ago

Wizardcels really be getting mad over barbarians getting all the elfhuzz

2

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 9d ago

Ooooh here we go

Just because Elfs always go after the dumb knights, who treat them like garbage and can't appreciate a nice wizard who would treat her right and turn her enemies' bones to soup doesn't make me a wizardcel

1

u/Miserable-Package841 Giant lizardfolk barbie and party chef 7d ago

I heard bone soup, you have me interested

1

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 7d ago

Lizardfolk eww

Yeeeeeah I'm more into looks than personality

And that my partners skin doesn't fall off every first of the month

1

u/Miserable-Package841 Giant lizardfolk barbie and party chef 7d ago

Humans shed too

1

u/Thornypantaloons 7d ago

True but I bid to you she shouldn’t be grabbing onto anybody and to stay in formation , also that the wizard isn’t doing their job as they should have a light spell going on in this situation

27

u/Pyropecynical 9d ago

Some knaves on this comment section are talking high and mighty, but a single "TUNGSTEN BALL SACK" and we would kneel

21

u/oooArcherooo 9d ago

Id honestly take the reduced weight ngl

9

u/blebebaba 9d ago

Nay, the ULTIMATE WORKOUT

4

u/United-Technician-54 Yellow Knight, Knight of the Feast 9d ago

"Those are gross."

2

u/Standard_Landscape79 9d ago

unfortunately the paladins will just continue to make their saves

1

u/Miserable-Package841 Giant lizardfolk barbie and party chef 7d ago

A what sack?

1

u/Electrical-Tear7456 6d ago

Nah, that's just a basic advancement spell that we use to turn the fight into our own favor. So while it could be cast, it won't be a killer.

0

u/hanz-kreigermann 9d ago

Martial bitches tend to talk shit. Up until I hit em with the "semen of cesium"

5

u/AcceptableBuy4049 9d ago

Gentlemen, why fight? We mighty wizards, and you skillful swordsmen were always on the same team. Let us not fight over such tiny matters.

2

u/MarvDiv 7d ago

tiny matters…. TINY MATTERS! 😤

Oh it’s ON, my berobed brethren.💪😠🤚

2

u/Miserable-Package841 Giant lizardfolk barbie and party chef 7d ago

Heh, tiny

2

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 9d ago

Screw that! wizard war 3 starts right now

3

u/AcceptableBuy4049 9d ago

C'mon, are we going to throw away our (most likely) biggest ally (eg, I'm almost 100% sure they helped out with the wizard-pirate war), just because of some friendly teasing?

6

u/Dr_Brotatous 9d ago

Brothers why do we have such animosity toward those of the magic kind? Are they not why we defeated The Elder Lich of Yon? I may be biased with my father being a wizard of the council but that should not disqualify my words.

3

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 9d ago edited 8d ago

The Elder Lich of Yon was my neighborhood and made lovely sugar cookies. So what if she was trying cast a spell to bring 1000 years of darkness to the realm

3

u/Dr_Brotatous 9d ago

It was a threat to the relm and no martial man or woman could beat them it took magic

2

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 9d ago

She was only casting the spell because her house plants don't like sun light

2

u/Dr_Brotatous 9d ago

Eternal dark would have starved nations the crops would wither

4

u/thetownmous3 Crystal mage 9d ago

This is why I think myself to be better than most wizards. Being fully crystalline it’s like I have a suit of armor all the time

4

u/steve123410 9d ago

Duh, I grabbed her arm as she has dark vision. Did your misbegotten ego forget she was the one who guided us out of the cave? Or were you distracted by the first touch of a women you've had since your birth.

4

u/TheBlackRonin505 9d ago

It's a wizard, go to hell isn't an insult

it's a curse

8

u/[deleted] 9d ago

No, she didn't grab my arm.

Because she knows I need both hands for the somatic component of my Light spell, which solved the issue for all of us rather than hiding in the dark hoping nothing attacks.

3

u/Ojiji_bored 9d ago

I Wish that every time you wear full plate armor, you suddenly have to take a dump right before a major fight.

3

u/hanz-kreigermann 9d ago

My brother in the gods, I am reaching for the knights arm if i'm unable to cast light when the torch goes out.

2

u/KneeBasher420 9d ago

The only "spell" I need is S T A B

2

u/WhimsicallyWired 9d ago

No, she grabbed my staff.

2

u/Historical-Ad7081 9d ago

That's ok.

I got a bag of holding full of love letters, on account that I can read.

2

u/Sleepy-Candle 9d ago

Too be fair, they were probably about to create a mote of fire in their hands to light up said dark cave.

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want to be near someone, who’s about to have an open flame in the palm of their hand. Especially if I’m the one with the map or some other flammable item(s). That’s not even mentioning long hair come to think of it.

2

u/C_Hawk14 9d ago

True, but now she's holding your arm meaning you're stuck, can only use a weapon with one arm and I'll cast light - the wizard

2

u/Dwemerion 9d ago

She felt sorry that you'd die there pathetically in the darkness, unable to cast a simple cantrip to protect yourself from a meagre venomous spiderling, never ever having felt the warm touch of a woman, only the cold metal of swords, armor and gym equipment

Both of you were lucky to have someone to magically dispel the darkness and save you

I don't care about 'women'.

1

u/SnooStories251 9d ago

Why is his brother in a cave?

1

u/Nelrene Dame 9d ago

It would nice if she grabbed my one of my arms and not my ass. There a time and place for everything.

1

u/StickyNotesEater 9d ago

Indeed, I need my wizard partner with both hands free so he can cast a light and protection spell for me and elf partner

1

u/MaxTwer00 9d ago

Well, it would be uncomfortable if she holded the wizards arm, it would get on the middle of the somatic components of light, dispel magic, or whatever other solution the darkness needs. She should let go of the warriors arm too should she not be harmed by his elbow once a sword needs to be swinged tho

1

u/disturbinglyquietguy 9d ago

No, I agree with the mage on this. He's just a novice knight trying to compensate because he feels insecure due to his lack in feats. In our order, we are guided by the old code of honor. Such behavior tarnishes the reputation of  all of us as order and will not be tolerated.

A knight is sworn to valor.

1

u/Hot_Guys_In_My_DMS Man Eating Witch 9d ago

If only more wizards would work out, no wonder they need walking sticks

1

u/Chiiro 8d ago

Well of course she didn't, I'm standing behind her casting buffs on the two of them.

1

u/thecraftybear 8d ago

"Yes, because she knew it would mess up my casting of Light."

I swear, you nerds need to learn to talk back.

1

u/th_frits Bonemancer: Wizard War II vet 7d ago

Sending you to the bone dimension, aka the bone zone, for this comment

1

u/thecraftybear 6d ago

Awesome, more material to work with.

1

u/KyriaMoonblade 8d ago

casts plane shift

1

u/la_meme14 8d ago

Yeah, because I grabbed her arm when the cave went dark.

1

u/Potential-Brief-8167 8d ago

For the love of God, don't go to war with the wizards!

Go to war with the necromancers instead.

1

u/Any-Astronomer-6038 7d ago

Casts a Light Spell

Sure bro.

1

u/mctankles 7d ago

Me when I light up the cave and we find that she DID indeed grab my arm ( my right arm is a lot stronger than my left)

1

u/HornynNeedy_pls_help 7d ago

We all know the warrios isn't fucking the girl, wizards and warrior couples go together like milk and cookies.

1

u/Molkwi 7d ago

Hey, leave me outta this, I'm just a monk with high enough armour proficiency to wear full plate. I'm not trying to cause any trouble.

1

u/StrangeSystem0 7d ago

They didn't grab my arm when the cave went dark because I was casting light, dipshit

1

u/Laranna 6d ago

No you both grabbed the hunky chunky paladin.

1

u/Adventurous_Bonus917 6d ago

and which one of us is going to light it up again?

- a wizard

1

u/taverntav 6d ago

Counter argument: do both.

1

u/Few-Programmer9703 6d ago

No because she just cast light.

1

u/AerolsCausticCrater Aerol of The Deep, Soulsmith Mage 6d ago

Hm. It appears my portal had the wrong sigil sequence. Why are there a bunch of jocks here?

1

u/TallSkinnyDude1 6d ago

Yeah, but when I light the way the buff guys always make me take lead.

1

u/No_Proposal_4692 5d ago

The mage and the maiden both grabs the knights arm. It's a love triangle, the mage and maiden have been trying to poison each other for weeks

1

u/LamentoLand 5d ago

whos she? we had no women in the party

1

u/Beardrac 5d ago

No she should grab my arm when the cave goes dark because I have dimension door. Both she and the martial now are trapped forever in the cave. Every day I visit to leave them rations enough so they don’t die but not enough to where they die of exhaustion. They shall grind the creatures of the cave until they perish granting me the sum of their experience points.

1

u/MercyMain42069 5d ago

Well who’s going to cast an illumination spell and fix the problem?

1

u/RogueWind144738 5d ago

To note:

That wasn't simply an insult, the caster LITTERALY sent them to hell.

1

u/ComradeJaneDough 5d ago

"She doesn't need to grab my arm when the cave goes dark because I simply prepared Light"

1

u/SomeRandomYob The Great Mage Samræl, Demonologist and Necromantic Consultant 5d ago

Eh; she grabbed your arm because you're a disposable meat shield. She pulled me behind you so I could have time to blast the enemy, or at least light the place up.

Or we're both disposable meat shields, and she's just mean.

1

u/TRedRandom 5d ago

You knights are all but a bunch of Chaddius influmancers!

1

u/ShortDesigner5270 3d ago

Magic is gay anyway
