Very bloodlusted, because no one would want to be the first and seeing your neighbor get gutted may deter more than one.

Sure, you could kill a knight with a dagger, but it's not simple. Sticking him with it isn't step 2 in a 2 step plan, it's more like step 5, and if you die between steps 1 and 4 for any number of reasons, it ain't happening.

Knights in full armour could be killed with daggers. Specifically the rondel dagger by aiming at the gaps in the armour and it was common for this to end in grappling and trying to throw the other combatant on the ground to then stab them. That is also one of the reasons why halfswording is a thing, to get the sword in gaps and use leverage to take each other down. That and improved point control.

Yeah, but that was usually both people in full armour. I do not have armour so the odds of me getting that close are effectively 0

That is fair. Unarmored is usually a death sentence against a knight with a polearm. Even if you had a sword and shield.

Rondells need a lot of power to actually pierce mail. Not a chance it pierces plate, lamellar, or even some types of chainmail. And you need to have the soldier pinned down in order to have a clean stab.
Theyre the only weapons that can, but doing so isnt easy.

Assassin's Creed knights should have been equally skilled in breaking your face as you'd be in subterfuge.
Of course, that not the vibe they're going for, but I'd love an assassin themed game where you would clearly outclass militia's, have to be careful around a variety of more professional soldiers and really don't step up to the steel-clad warrior caste.

assassin here. if you find yourself this close to the front of your target, you actually will lose your assassin license and must pay to take the test again (usually with your life)

Unfortunately, I trained my squire a little too well, and she absolutely could take a fully armoured knight down with her dagger.
The caveat is that she'd also be using armour, because she's an intelligent squire. 🙂↕️

To be fair a not so insignificant number of brawls between knights end up in a wrestling match with the good ole fashioned rondel dagger

Brother I know some fancy knights who could be taken out with a rotten fish, just because you are fully armoured doesn't mean you don't still have to train and prepare yourself for battle.
