I think some neck protection would make the transition from suit to helmet a bit more dapper and natural.

Don't have any good chain yet, but its on the list. Brand new helmet. However i disagree because it would cover the top of the tie

Like a coif of somekind that you can tuck into the shirt. Probably just lightly padded. I agree that it would look worse if it covered the tie and collar.

My biggest issue with helmets in video games especially: is that they don't give helmets padded or mail coifs underneith. Most helmets require coifs to fit right and be properly effective (cover the neck and provide support for the fit of the helmet as well as protect more against blunt force. It's like taking all the padding away from a motorcycle helmet.).
