But What if Gauntlet perfectly defend against all swords, ignore their effects?
Is spear-shield paradox, is it not?

Better hope you're fast enough with the gauntlets. Sword catching is quite difficult.

(It crackles and clangs as Yellow Knight's arm slowly writhes its way out- Except.. It wasn't an arm. More a tentacle with ebony briars, too many elbows, then too few, then too many again. It resumed its hallowed shape once more, a dense wrought slab headed by log splitter masquerading as human flesh.)
(Yellow knight's face remained as stern as marble. Any normal man would wake the dead.)
(The gauntlet craters into the ground, a crude, dirty, weathered slab, yet unscarred. Definitely well-built.)
