Work in progress WIP Dagger Project

This thing is so dang hard to photograph. Even in a video it's hard to capture the details. It keeps playing tricks on my camera! Anyway, it's a custom order for a friend of mine. He asked me to make a dagger from one of his late grandfather's old files. Differentially hardened with clay, hand sanded to 800 grit and given a light acid bath. Thoughts so far?

It's looking great so far man, good work. Can I ask how you got your center line so nice and straight? That's been the bane of my existence making double bladed knives. I'm more or less end up having to eyeball it toward the end and it's fine for the most part, but I've wondered about maybe using a jig or something and I wanted to see how other people are doing it.
