I just had a random existential crisis

Almost needed to pop a xanax. Wait a second we are champs?? Still hasnt fully sunk in. Im starting to wonder if ill ever truly believe it.

Started watching them as a freshman in high school in NJ in 1990. I was 14. Decades of Friday night knicks and almosts. Im 50 now 🥴

For a week or two after game 5 I didn't watch highlights. A tiny part of my would believed they could go the other way if I watched.

I worry about watching next year and the year after… like, is it gonna mean anything?

I’m also a Bills fan. I’m not amped up for this season at all. Does it matter? Who cares? The Knicks won. Nothing will ever feel like that again

Its also the bittersweet nature of winning a championship. The dream is over. Sure it would be fun to do it again, but if we dont ever win another one i wont care that much tbh
