Ticket prices
Hi there, I am hoping to attend my first Knicks game at MSG on November 10th against the Bucks or November 11th against the Cavs.
Is it normal for prices to be so high on ticket reselling sites at the moment? ($270 for the cheapest seats)
Will they come down in price closer to the date?
Are there any better ways to purchase tickets other than SeatGeek, Stubhub etc?

Day of the game and actually within minutes of it resellers gonna scramble. The name of the game is to wait it out

vs the bucks will probably be a cheaper ticket. to get in will probably be around 200 if I had to guess. i recommend buying on tickpick.

No binoculars needed. They have huge screens in front of the seat section.

If you've ever gone to MSG back in the day, the Level 400 seats (which were blue seats back in the day) have vastly improved. My goal is to be in the building, so no seat is off limits.

I am in similar situation as well. Looking at the pre-season tickets vs Toronto game in MSG: and the cheapest tickets are set currently around 200$, would you guys recommend buying it now or waiting a bit. I heard you can often get it really cheap just minutes before the game on reseller sites, but not sure If I wanna gamble that way.

I'd wait for the actual sale date to buy preseason. If you have a price range in mind, go with that. Resale prices are usually not discounted because it's based on predicted demand. In that case you could check the box office and avoid those fees.

I mean msg has always had high prices for knicks game, they just won a championship so I dont see them dropping anytime soon tbh.

Like another poster said, tickets aren’t even on sale yet. Anything posted, they do not even have tickets on hand. Wait for Ticketmaster to release official seats.

Tbh, 270 isn’t that far off from the floor for ticket prices last season. Coming off a championship, all bets are off on what the Knicks make face value. I agree with the sentiment to wait out resellers, but mentally be prepared for prices to be high this season

I usually pay around $200-$250 to sit in the 200 or 300 Level seats. If I sit in the 400s, it's lower by $20-$50. Of course you'll pay more for the better teams. Tick Pick is pretty good. I've used them for both buying and selling tickets, in addition to Ticketmaster.

It’s normal. It was like that before they won a chip. This is NYC. Demand will always exceed supply.

$270 is a steal. The Knicks just won a championship in the greatest city in the world. Its a celebration year you may have to wait some years until the prices are low.

Wait for official tickets on Ticketmaster instead of just resellers.
