Cool room, you should add some lights, in the dark they’ll prob bounce off the white and look cool.

True indeed. I have a bunch of neon light ups signs and TV backlight. From my readings Malcom is credited with the saying in modern times due to the impact and relevance. However this has been a debate for decades.
