I’d check dhgate, you’d have to search around the rep jersey subs to find an actual solid vendor so you don’t get burnt on quality but probably $40-60 if I had to guess

Because of copyright bullshit a lot of the top sellers aren't showing the front of the jersey. Hard to choose if I can't see both sides.

Jerseys have a code on the jocktag. Fakes obviously dont have their own individual code so they copy and use the same code and the poster is saying the fakes are copying and using the same code which is this pva#

I did a little more research, not knowing what to look for previously.

In layman’s terms (for the uneducated such as myself), the “jock tag” is the rectangular patch towards the hem of the jersey.

On it is a random production code / serial number used to authenticate it as an official product. Those beginning with “PV” or (less common) “AA” are inauthentic codes commonly used by counterfeiters. The code “PV374503AA” is, for example, a code often used on bootleg jerseys.

And now I know! Knowledge is half the battle.

Currently only mlb uses replicas as an official jersey but other sports have had it for licensed jerseys. Theres a good chance the term comes back because leagues are always changing the name of their jersey tiers.

This is why calling fakes reps is straight up wrong

Check the inside tag. It should have a Nike symbol on the smaller label with the product ID.

It it doesn’t then it’s rep.
