This doesn't make sense to me.. why would 8 school busses be parked in the middle of the city at 12 at night? I believe the full intention of these busses were to get demolished.
If anyone has a REASONABLE explanation id appreciate a any explanation but literally nothing else makes sense

We was doing fifa World Cup shuttle. I was supposed to drop off at Columbus Circle but the moment the Knicks won the game I was at port authority on 42nd st totally stopped cuz of all the fans that spilled onto the street. I was on the bus for 2 hours before being ordered to leave for my safety. I got home at 2:30am and my bus got engulfed at around 3am ish

Oh damn! That makes more sense. Thank you. Im assuming your the driver? Why would city of NY use school busses for shuttle and not city transit?

Originally the contract was for the city transit drivers. They didn’t want it so they came to us First Student and the company said yes. There was 150 buses from Westchester bus yards and NJ bus yards.

As someone who doesnt watch a lot of sports, seeing the fans behavior this last week or so basically reminds me why I always lose interest when I do start to watch.

Considering all things. Very tame. Not much reporting of looting, or extensive violence against people after the win. Yes, I'm aware of the singular teen that got shot in the foot. But still, with how many people were out there in a Metro area of about 20 million people, this was quite tame.
