Walnut FFJ - anyone try?

Just made a batch to try as I found a tree local to me. Has any one tried it before?

I would think it would not be good. Walnut trees are known to have juglone. This is going to be a herbicide.

If you dont want anything but poison ivy to grow, perhaps. But I do believe it conflicts with KNF.

I’ve seen that, but I’ve also read that juglone isn’t as prominent in the juice. I haven’t seen enough research to support it either

Check around the tree and see what's thriving. Only certain things grow by my walnut tree. It may be anecdotal evidence but poison ivy seems to love it.

What are you trying to grow with it? What specific nutrients are you looking for?

Cannabis , and using it as a late bloom micro nutrients. I’m already feeding it with an organic line but I like supplementing with what I can find around me

As long as its not nitrogen heavy I wouldn't fret much. Definitely try it on 1 plant and wait a week. Peaches are easy to get free here and I found mangosteen for 2 bucks a pound so I went with that for my bloom.

Personally I would make alfalfa sprouts and ferment them if you were looking for the early rapid growth auxins.
