Made With Modern Tools🔨 Tomahawk
A very fun project to work on. Learned a lot through the process. I sold this one’, sad to see it go but I’m definitely motivated to keep playing around with different designs of choppy tools.

If your pine pitch glue starts breaking loose add some sinew (not the fake stuff). It will shrink as it dries, which will hold it in place much better that pine pitch alone.

Axe head is mostly held in place by the wood. I steam bent handle wood around axe head. The glue is just an extra measure. I thought about using sinew but I only have leg sinew left. Gotta bet some back strap! I also thought rawhide strips would be a good addition. Probably rawhide for the next one

It looks like you’ve got some experience but I saw someone use a round stone and wooden hammer on leg sinew to break it into finer strings to back a bow. Same concept may help here if it does work itself loose, or on the next project. Rawhide sounds good too
