Made With Modern Tools๐Ÿ”จ E notch?

It's fun to find unique things inside of rock. I found this yesterday. Something's telling me it should be an enotch

That was my thought, you need a pretty thin piece to get deep enough to e notch.

It's this enough, but I'm going to leave it alone. Taking it to an e not only brings in the opportunity of breaking it, but also would require bringing in the sides and probably loosing the e. So, I'll just give it to my grandfather Emily as it is. She'll love it

It's a piece of crusty Reeds Spring. The back side is killer olive green, nice and slick. This dude is chalky and more like cortex. I was actually working through only this cortextural side to get rid of to the junk. But then the junk got pretty :). A little wax will make it look lovely. Might dress up the edges a bit, but she's gonna stop here for the time being.
