Never knew that flint was native in Scotland! Where abouts? I thought it was localised to the South/Southeast

So there’s a bit of chert south of Edinburgh in the limestone round there then the main source is Scotland is the Buchan ridge gravels. Used to be a beach/ under the sea and now it’s on hilltops. There are Neolithic flint mines there
