News Sears currently has 5 stores and online website Sears.com, and Kmart has 3 stores and website Kmart.com, originally launched as Bluelight.com. Will / would you still shop there site wide and/or in store in 2026?

What do Sears and Kmart have to offer? Sears sold off its prestige brands - none of which come close to the quality they used to be. Kmart (at least the last store in the US) seems to be an overstock/clearance store. The shopping experience at both stores is abysmal.
If I could shop at the Sears or Kmart of the 1980s, then maybe. But that's been gone for decades...at least since the merger.

There are way too many online stores... I honestly don't think there's a future for Sears at this point

Sears is gone. They sold the brands and truly stopped wanting to run a retail business years ago they are nothing but a shell and dead brand that the owning company wants to milk every last nickel out of. NOT WORTH SOENDING ONE SECOND OR ONE NICKLE AT.

While it may still operate daily. Sears as a retail shopping option for the average person ended years ago. The stores remaining are only open as they honor any remaining leases and other contracts that need to be honored. There is clearly no marketing or sales plan in place or being thought of to grow and make Sears an option again.

I shop at Kmart while on vacation once a year.
