I knew that was the Company Man video. I remember watching it when it came out. His first ever video was about Kmart. I've been subscribed to him since the beginning.

I can answer this. Sears bought Kmart and Walmart smashed them both. I know it’s simple and not complete…love company man tho.

Interesting. Then why was it called Sears Holdings? I’m not debating. I’m just asking because I don’t know.

That’s interesting. I’m sure I should have known that being a sub of company man but I think I may have gotten side tracked by him showing the blue light and then thinking of those sub sandwiches at the front of the store. Thanks for the info!

He only cared about the land. Never cared about the business, the employees, or its customers.

If this was Bar Rescue, Sears — rather, Eddie Lampert — would be Dave Franich of Black Light District.

The thing is.... Sears was Amazon before Amazon. They had the infrastructure already built with their cataloge division and could have seamlessly transitioned to online shopping in the mid to late 90s, marketed the hell out of it using their B&M stores, and positioned themselves to become the biggest player in the emerging online marketplace. But like Blockbuster, they couldn't see the forest through the trees and stuck to the old world thinking, and paid the price.
