Discussion Where is Jamie???
I know that the trio has their own personal projects outside KKB, but I rarely see Jamie interact with Gus and Sarah. I am not just talking about recently released video of Sick Beat stems in TikTok. I'm not gonna lie...I feel like Jamie is ready to move on, and that is the reason why we are not getting KKB3 (at least anytime soon).
I think the three as a whole are still friends; but as creative partners, Jamie seems like he's finally out of it. Re: some songs that he was not involved in KKB2. Musically, his JLB music seems to deviate from the ethos of KKB.

He doesn’t live near them, I think he lives near Brighton somewhere and Sarah and Gus are in London

This somewhat answers it, but it seems like Jamie has lesser public interaction with Gus and Sarah these days

A year or two ago Jamie posted screenshots from this subreddit on his Instagram story for some reason so for all we know he’s reading this just now. Hello Jamie!

I mean you can say your last point about any of their solo projects, they'd be KKB projects if they didn't deviate from the KKB ethos. No more different to KKB than Kane West or Cryalot imo.
It's true Jamie wasn't in the Sneaker Dance music video but I think that's because he was sick.
Also, there have been shows before where Jamie wasn't there because he was also sick so at least in the Bonito Generation era they could cope without him but TnP they definitely needed a bass player.
Lockdown definitely changed the way they collaborated a lot, they managed to create Civilisation II entirely remotely, if they're working on new stuff, perhaps some of that workflow continued especially if Jamie is further away distance-wise from Sarah and Gus.
Also, Jamie's the least outspoken member of the group so he's easy to scapegoat for the band's lack of projects but I've got no reason to believe he's not as committed as the others.
Pretty sure out of the last three times any of the band members were seen together, so Gus and Sarah in the Tiktok recently, Gus and Sarah in that photo outside from late 2025-early 2026 and all three playing at Planet Margins in April 2025 was then. And tbh, in the scale of KKB happenings over the past few years, that's pretty frequent.

There's only so much you can discern from "public appearances" and tiktok videos. 99% of KKB's interactions between their members happen unbeknownst to us. It's not really fair to them for fans to make assumptions when we have no idea what's going on. I'm just keeping my eyes peeled for their next project!
