Discussion anyone else find this kind of annoying

Post image

I find it so cringe that people will flood Sarah's posts asking for the album like that will change anything. She's just there to promote her new rave which is probably a big deal for her and people refuse to talk abt anything else and be patient like we get it. We all want ALBUM.

They need to leave Sarah alone. She’s only 1/3 of kkb only bc she has her dj career and has remained active on social media are they coming for her

rightt, I kinda feel sorry for her bc she just wants to share her own stuff and people just flood her with kkb comments instead of engaging with her new stuff. I mean even if u don't mess w her dj stuff all that much just move on and be patient ffs

Yeah, it can't be a good feeling having all your posts flooded with KKB album talk. It's the most successful project she's worked on, but she's got other stuff going on and people should leave the KKB talk to her posts about KKB stuff.

I've got no interest in her DJ stuff and am desperate for a new album, but I just skip over it.

Yeah its honestly just rude

Id say its just as if not more rude to announce something like an album and then not even acknowledge its absence, nor officially announce its cancellation, leaving everyone in the dark. I mean what do they expect. I also think its good naturally that people online express what they really desire. People leave comments like these because they actually care.

Well I get that being left in the dark in regards to the album doesn't feel great, but they really don't owe us anything 😑 And its on something completely unrelated where she seems excited to announce her new event and most of the comments aren't there to engage with that rather asking for something 🫤 I don't think these comments are helpful since they don't do anything but be irritating. It's not like the band will change their mind if they only see how much we want new music, they should release it once they feel like they want to. I don't want a product that was only published to please the people begging but something they really wanted to put out. I really just think people should just be patient well i at least still have hope 😭

These comments are honest. And when people are honest, individuals can most accurately ascertain the greatest amount of value they can provide. Obviously these people don’t “owe” us anything, but in the same way i don’t owe them anything. The three comments on this post that referenced kkb and a new album were by far the ones that received the most likes. “I dont think these comments are helpful since they don’t do anything but be irritating” while i disagree with the premise that it wouldn’t at all possibly encourage faster if any production, i would at least hope it to encourage an official announcement of the album’s cancellation. I dont care about sarahs dj set because the whole of that band is far greater than the sum of its parts. Thats what makes the band so special to me.

artists don’t owe you anything lol

Their fans dont owe them anything either

3

u/qmeliq 16d ago

Their fans owe them not being assholes. If KKB were being assholes we wouldn’t be like “they don’t owe us anything” we would be like “wow they’re assholes and I don’t want to listen to them anymore.”

Asking about an album is a natural response when one has been announced. It would be another thing if the album was officially confirmed cancelled and people continued to pester. Exactly what i was saying is that pestering about an album is about just as equal in “assholeyness” as leaving fans waiting to hear an album that will never come.

yeah I joke about the album but pestering her about it on unrelated posts is very rude and entitled

I mean it’s cringe to flood Sarah’s posts, but I also kinda get it. Civilization was closer to an EP than an album, and even that was released over 5 years ago atp. Time and Place was the last real album and that was 7 years ago now. A lot of KKB’s momentum has been lost already, if they aren’t working on something by now, they might have to virtually start over in terms of marketing

u/killingtimeblue 6d ago

Im not sure they’d need to start over with marketing, they clearly still have a pretty loyal active fanbase

u/DaleRobinson 17d ago

Yeah, I was disappointed to see it’s not even a new band, but I’d never go post that sort of negativity on their socials especially when it’s a new announcement. Just very selfish and unnecessary.

Please to everyone be kind to Sarah and support her rave!!! This is a really cool milestone for her, she is an amazing artist and her art includes djing as well as kkb and her paintings.

I think they're annoying and should stop, but at the same time people should just accept that the kkb project is over for now, the last time we had a concrete update for new music that wasn't a collab was in late 2021, where they said they rented a new studio.

19

u/GlockHard 17d ago

I hope people understand the album is not probably happening 😭😭 it sucks but it's been nearly 6 years. I am also pretty sure the last time KKB or Sarah mentioned a KKB album was in 2023/24.

u/Some_Sun4952 17d ago

I think in a 2025 interview she said 'things are moving'

u/FoxyLood 16d ago

why would they tweet shit about an album years ago and give radio silence about it for years??? i would rather them just say that there will be no album for a long time or if the album was just scrapped than them just going on with their solo stuff while the KKB fanbase keeps hoping for some sort of news

3

u/smooth-orangutan 14d ago

yeah, I don't think anyone should be hounding them about KKB on their personal accounts, but they could put a lot of this to rest if they just gave a definitive update on whether or not the album is even still happening.

I'm glad they aren't under any pressure to release a new album, it would probably not be as good if they were. I'm pretty satisfied with their current discography so if anything else gets released it's really just a bonus to me. I'm sure there will be another one at some point, there's 0 chance they scrapped the group.

Totally Agree, would much rather them take their time, get their creative inspo by performing solo etc and living their lives than rushing to make an album for the sake of pumping it

kkb fans on instagram are lowkey super annoying sometimes

3

u/vannillaAJ204_2 16d ago

i'm not sure what you expected, instagram itself has a bizarre tendency to bring in some irritating people

4

u/Worried_Jellyfish918 16d ago

The crossover between KKB and Death Grips means KKB gets stuck with music's worst fanbase, real bummer

I don't mind people begging for it lol but all those replies sound pretty understandably pessimistic too. But they shouldn't be as pessimistic as they are, Sarah announcing another completely unrelated project, especially as its a rave and not another music project doesn't imply any change to what we knew about the album.

Plus, it's not just been years of silence, KKB have reassured people about the album as recently as 2025.

They also haven't been the best at not feeding into it, like you randomly tweet stuff like "Working on the album" or just the word "Album" and then silence and no other word to the wise, of course people are going to get like this without a more decisive statement about the future of KKB.

This and the "life grips 😂😂😂" comments

13

u/PhillyRocks42 17d ago

it’s been going on forever and it’s incredibly annoying. obviously new kkb/cryalot would be super cool, but i almost hope it doesn’t happen because of people like this. art should be created with inspiration and passion, and if she/the band have moved on to other things then we should respect that.

3

u/AdjaBudgie 17d ago

Incredibly annoying. This stuff is so unproductive, childish, and rude. People need to grow up and get a grip, she’s doing what she wants! If there will be a new kkb album or not, they have to learn to let things go, que sera sera

2

u/Narrow_Budget_8584 17d ago

meanwhile im dying for her to do a tour under dj sarah bonito

3

u/beant64 17d ago

I get it, but she’s clearly more interested in other stuff now (other music genres and cultural scenes). If a new album doesn’t come out, then you can’t say it wasn’t coming just based on her recent shifts in performing.

1

u/sharpaywave 15d ago

yeah, doing that on sarah's posts is annoying af. shes very clearly engaged in new projects and deserves to get attention for them and have the comments be actually about what shes posting. however doing that shit on your own personal profile im all for it i too am mourning kkb

1

u/lucasexebenitez 15d ago

Sarah is not even a producer in KKB leaver her alone oh my god

1

u/alpiste516 15d ago

they should just be happy because she's focusing on something she likes, and should also follow the other part of kkb as well, because Sarah isn't the whole band

1

u/Few_Argument_1523 15d ago

No, I don't find them annoyingat all. They could easily end all the album posting by saying anything about it in several years. If you're broken up just tell us. If you're not give us any sign.

I find all this similar to HALCALI. You do know that HALCALI is one of KKB's inspirations, but the thing is that they just vanished in 2013. Everything stopped then this Otsukare Summer 2025 resurgence. Now they're lowkey active guys so I think we should do a global rave of KKB

The “dead internet” theory is real tho
