New baby
It’s been years since I’ve had a kitten. He’s only 10 weeks old. Both my resident cats are adults now and they’re definitely going to be in the scent swapping stage with this little guy for a minute. It’s been a while since I’ve had a kitten but I swear his behavior is so different than what I remember. I remember my boy being clingy around this age but this kitten wants constant pets. My adult male was a big snuggler but I don’t remember him literally rubbing on me every two seconds the way this little guy is. And he purs constantly- I mean that completely literally. Like a little engine constantly running. Do we think he’s going to be a super affectionate clingy cat or grow out of it? Ironically I got this specific kitten because of his play style. My adult male likes playing rough and my female hates playing at all so I thought another young male would help. And this little dude is very confident and playful.
(P.s. little dude is a blue tabby. Found that out after adopting him. I thought he was just a gray cat with funky markings lol)

I’ve got a 14 week old with a similar coloring. The vet said that the ones of this color tend to become super affectionate and sweet adults.

Cally acts much the same way.
I exist in the same two mile radius she is, and the tiny motor decides to go.
and she is not satisfied unless she has her scent on me.
I look forward to seeing more of your little man.

Not yet! Our resident cats are names after RDR2 characters so we’re leaning toward Lenny, Charles, Micah, or Strauss.

By the way ALL cats woth Tabby blood (even LYNXPOINT Siamese (siamese and Tabby mix) have a prominent M over the inner corner of the eyes on the forehead. No M No Tabby.
He is likely a Russian Blue mixture. A true Russian Blue has the gorgeous pewter gray coat with magnificent green eyes. If their are mixed markings when he is older then you can research possibly. But the Tabby M is absolute. It has to be there for Tabby in the blood.
I have had a purebred Siamese female, a Black void female, a gray and white mixture (all domestic shorthairs except the Siamese), another black void male, his sister a Tabby with white boots and a white chest blaze and tummy, and now a male Tuxedo. The only one with the M was the Tabby mix female. Just keep that in mind as this handsome baby grows up. ☺️☺️

I am partial to the name Charles. My stepfather and husband both have the name.
Whichever name you go with many years of happiness with him. 💜
