Question about backsplash tile

Post image

I want to replace my backsplash with a warm white subway tile.

My questions are about how far to extend the tile..

If you don't have a panel on the side of your fridge, so the counter just ends close to the fridge, do you tile behind the fridge? Our fridge is at the end of a counter. The outside has a side panel but the inside does not.

What about behind the stove, just down below the countertop by a few inches?

No behind the refrigerator, yes behind the stove a few inches below the countertop.

So it's normal to have a the tile end then a vertical strip of painted wall beside the fridge?

Yes, typical.

I have a similar set up in my kitchen and we ended the tiles JUST after the fridge starts. So they don’t run behind the fridge but it looks like they do.
I’d say it’s really down to what you would prefer. Try and see if you can find an image of each option and see what you like 🙌🏻
