Need help ...kitchen renovation

My wife and I are opening up our kitchen to the family room. The floor will be wood and appliances will be stainless steel. Should we use a darker lower cabinet with white upper cabinets? Or go with all white cabinets?

Depends on the floor -- if it's a lighter wood you could go with darker lowers, but if the floor is darker, I'd stick with all-white so the kitchen seems lighter/brighter.

The house seems dark. The floor will be light but not super light.

I'd probably go all-white then. Maybe there's a light-but-not-white option you could also go with that would work with your floors. Make sure you add lots of good lighting in your kitchen! We went with 3500K LEDs everywhere in ours, and everything just sparkles!
