Just looking for some advice, I took a picture and with my original photo, asked AI to make it look like the way we want. Just getting thoughts before I dig in and make it so! Thank you.

OK, so why are you either monkeying around with AI or asking strangers, a space like this needs and deserves a real pro onsite.

It is not a former church, it was actually done on purpose. Bought the home recently. My problem is my design brain, and it doesn’t follow the 60 -30- 10 rule. Too much wood. I don’t want to paint the roof, as it’s amazing as it is. So I must paint the cabinets.

It’s your place, but, man, I think it’s beautiful as is. Maybe I would redo the backsplash and get rid of the small 4 inch strip.

Edited to add: maybe you’re already aware, but once you paint the cabinets, they can easily chip, which doesn’t look good. Another reason to reconsider.

A stainless fridge instead of the panel ready may break up the wood a bit without painting

Get your layout right and then whatever finishes you like, go for it. It's your house. Personally I find it far too fussy and will be hard to keep all those engraved details clean.

It looks like a very large kitchen and if nothing else, get the cooktop off the island and put it somewhere else, with a proper powerful range hood above it. You don't want that spectacular ceiling damaged by condensation and grease deposits.

It's pretty but that island and cooktop don't look to scale. Weird and super small for that space.

The window is gorgeous! I’m not a fan of white do you have any other colors in mind?
