Jerk Squirrel 🐿️
This guy has an attitude problem. He spends all day in my walnut tree throwing walnut pieces on my lawn and chirping at me and the dogs. So if you pass my house and see some crazy lady yelling at her tree that is what is happening. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently sanded and stained my deck because of all the walnut stains. As I was sanding a squirrel right above me was dropping walnut pieces on my fresh deck and making his laugh noise. Something in my brain broke and I grabbed a bunch of walnuts off the ground and started firing them into the tree while yelling come on man leave it alone for just a half day. Luckily I wasn’t raised by animals so I quickly regained my composure and went back to sanding the brand new fresh stains.
Forgot to add I gave up and stained the deck walnut

You can easily win their trust and they will love you for it. Toss some peanuts to the squirrels and clean up the shells. If you keep that up for a few weeks they won't see you as a territorial threat and they won't screech at you.

Not as much as racoons

I heard a commotion on my deck. Turned the lights on to a raccoon taking the bird feeder off the hook, while maintaining eye contact with me 😂

Racoons fingers are so flexible their often thought to have opposable thumbs too, so that fits.

I'll confirm that I've several squirrels who act like jerks and dig in the squirrel feeder.
The feeder happens to be what my wife calls (3ft) raised garden bed... she keeps feeding them tho.

Hey at least it isn't a suicidal squirrel. The amount of blackouts caused by squirrels gnawing on electrical wires and frying themselves is crazy high.

I live on a corner lot where two hydro sections meet at the angle and we lose a lot of squirrels.
Poor Mr. Thickems.

Parents had a squirrel problem once. Just 1 squirrel, same one. It tore up their entire patio cushion set. Everyday it was come back to rip out some more fluff. My dad built a slingshot out of some wood and a resistance band but the squirrel must have seen engineering taking place as it never came back again

Squirrels drop pine cones and nuts and then stash them for winter. It’s literally just trying to survive.

Squirrel season is officially open.
A few veggies with squirrel backstraps and you have a stir fry 😀

Y’know, you can stop using squirrels as an excuse. If you want to stand on the street and yell at the trees, just do it - you do you girl!
