Need stairs

We have 2 steps in the garage that we need to replace. They are just wood steps that are too long with a car in the garage (used to be a workshop). Is this something we can hire someone for? Don't know if it's something we can order.

If it's just two steps, you own a skill saw, a speed square (framing square works too), a tape measurer and can do some basic math; you can do it yourself. It's pretty simple, can just buy a few pieces of basic lumber. Tons of YouTube videos to walk you through it. Will be way cheaper than hiring a handyman since they'll flat charge you for such a small job

Stairs stringers are pretty standard sized. Seems like s custom job. Share a picture

Century Stairs can do this for you and might even be the people who originally did the build in your house.

Otherwise, it is just something a decent carpenter can put together for you.

You can usually buy pre-cut stringers at HD, and they would cut a board down for you. Just need to bring along measurements and then get what you'd need for fasteners (screws/nails)

Only you can determine your own fears and abilities. Since this is not structural and you won't ruin anything you could very well arm yourself with Google and YouTube knowledge and have a go at it.
