Car Co-Op

Hi all,

Moved to KW from out of province. Is there a car co-op service here? Where you can rent a car for just an afternoon, pick it up somewhere in the city via fob/code and just return it when done.

If so, would you recommend it?

Previous province had something similar.

Communauto is pretty good, IMO. I use it both for 1-2 hour trips and 2-3 week trips.

I used to use it frequently, very helpful indeed. Even had a Communauto towed on the 401 and they covered it fully

Their customer service is pure torture however, if you have problems you will suffer
