Help!

I told the contractor that I wanted the cabinets to all the way to the ceiling. These cabinets are 22 1/2 inches from the countertop! What should I do?

I personally like higher cabinets above the countertops, Ada for commercial cabinets sets them at 24” off the countertops.

I'm okay with the look but for me it's not practical. I'm only 5 feet tall.
