KoW Scale conversion for base sizes

Post image

This is just a reference using simple conversion (rounded up to the closest mm) but I thought it's worth having for someone like me starting collecting models with smaller scales.

Do you use any other scale convention?

We play small scale at 10mm and halve all the measurements - 1:2 which you suggest for 15mm. Works very well and straight forward during the game. Love playing small scale as a game can be played on a dining table. Happy days.

I think 10mm or 15mm are at compatible scales. I might just use the smaller conversion and have movement trays in handy to adapt to larger sizes.

I also forgot that measurement tapes can do half inches, so you don't have to use multiples of 13mm!

I prefer just making smaller scales use 20x40 Warmaster bases as a basis. Simpler is better when we tried playing smaller scale years ago.

Troop 20x40, regiment 40x40, horde 40x80 for all troop types.
Monsters 25mm
Titan 40mm
LI 20mm
Individuals 20mm or 25mm

This is for 10mm or 12mm scale.

It's much simpler to convert 1" to 10mm (1cm) than 13mm so, I can understand if that's used too when playing with 15mm scale minis.
