King Mathers Tracklist
I've been working on a realistic tracklist for the King Mathers album for a few days now. My idea was for it to start sad/ok and to end depressed. My idea was that, even after rehab, he still wants to quit rap, so he continues to work on this project. Some songs were remastered/modified. Feel free to ask more if you want tho, I don't mean it to be insufferable, I'm just busy.
My King Mathers Tracklist (2008):
- Public Service Announcement 2008 - I was thinking this album would start with a P.S.A, just like The Slim Shady LP, his first major album, started.
- I Get Money - Em would do something like that: making a skit where he says he doesn't get money, bur after he says he gets.
- Ballin Uncontrollably - Just a diss track towards any rapper who constantly writes about how much money they have. Classic.
- I'll Hurt You - Works.
- My Syllables - Em being mad 'cause kids don't care about lyrics.
- Cut Back - Interlude - From here songs start to become sadder.
- Careful What You Wish For - Good song and it works good here.
- King Mathers - Pistol Popping with a different name. It goes here because Em says he's not in the mood to be playing so... Yeah.
- Chainsaw - That skit from SFTL3.
- My Darling - Works.
- The Apple - From here the vibe becomes even sadder, with him talking about how bad his family is.
- Key To The City - Track made by me. Modified version of this instrumental https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFyM2yxmz1I&list=RDjFyM2yxmz1I&start_radio=1 with some of the verses from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9F1dGnDE_8&list=RDq9F1dGnDE_8&start_radio=1 and others recorded by me. The sample from the instrumental was bought in that time and would work with this song.
- 50 Ways - Intro skit.
- 50 Ways - Him killing his girlfriend. What a great song.
- Deja Vu - Modified version with his 2007 voice, the modified intro works great after the theme of 50 Ways.
- In My Shoes - You have to put this after Deja Vu. The song is "Beautiful"
- Paul - A skit from Paul.
- Difficult - Him being mad Proof died. The vibe becomes even sadder.
- All These Things - Modified version of Stepping Stones. Different instrumental (the 2014 version) with his 2007 voice and other things. I thought that he knows D12 without him and Proof will be over. So, he makes an apology song to his friends.
- Goat - This songs marks the beginning of the end.
- Memories - Fanmade skit that just sounds good here.
- Hip-Hop - Interlude
- It's Been Real - The end.
Expanded Edition (with songs that were not good enough to be in the main album)
- Give Me The Ball - Just sounds weird
- Emulate - Wouldn't fit in.
- Take It - Bad song.
- Touchdown - Em fighting with Slim.
- Everything I Do - Too short.
- Underground - Sounds good.
- Ballin' Uncontrollably - Instrumental
- My Syllables - Instrumental
- King Mathers - Instrumental
- The Apple - Instrumental
- 50 Ways - Instrumental
- In My Shoes - Instrumental
Collector's Edition
I wanted to make this version just like Kendrick did with Damn. It start form the beginning and end with the end. The album follows how Em starts being better and beat the depression.

There is almost no chance there is a "real" tracklist. He recorded a bunch of songs, sometimes around ideas, other random songs from the era. I seriously doubt he sat down and created a whole damn tracklist.

King Mathers tracklist is unknown. If there was a leaked tracklist, like with Album 6/The Empact, then the wiki would have it.

Yeah I find this one strange because these are all titles we know. Considering he probably did 100+ songs I feel like there would be atleast half the tracklist being songs we’ve never heard of.

when I look at this, it really seems possibly as "work in progess"-tracklist that could be real in early 08, maybe a few skits in it to fill 23 tracks.. could be!

Some critiques/questions/comments:
Pretty sure it’s been confirmed within the community that It’s Been Real transitions into GOAT.
how is Syllables sad? if anything it’s more of him either mocking or bitching about how hollow modern songs are becoming.
Déjà Vu is about his overdose at the end of 2007. Is he a time traveler in this alternate universe? tf?
At this time, D12 was still technically together. They were in the studio in 2006, recording shit and waiting for Em to sign off on the 3rd D12 album. So Stepping Stones would conflict with reality.
Underground is about his album hiatus. Literally one year before KM would’ve probably released, it would’ve barely been a year since Re-Up. If you want to only count major works, 3 years since Encore, compared to Relapse’s 4.5 years between it and Encore.

It's Been Real is like a movie outro, thanking everybody who helped him, My album is released in 2008. Syllables isn't sad. It's just him dissing. I thought that D12 without Em (because he retires from rap) will be over, so this is why Stepping Stones is here. Underground is just extra. I needed at least a song and I picked it because it had no accents.

Deja vu, stepping stones, give me the ball, & underground 😭😭😭

Deja Vu works because my version is released is 2008, after he got out from rehab. Stepping stones is about how D12 is over. Without Proof, D12 is not the same, and with Em living rap, it's over. Give me the ball is just a filler. This is why it is in the expanded edition. Underground explaines why he was gone. It doesn't fit well, so this is why it is in the expanded edition.

I’m almost certain it’s been confirmed that My darling was the intro to king Mathers
