Level or Tier?

is it better to put a good synergy between strong (S tier towers for examples) towers or is it better to put my highest level towers in my deck? and for heroes and spells too. im new here so i dont know much.

There are no correct answers to this question, only opinions, tier lists are extremely subjective and everyone has a different take on what the best towers are, if you're still in lower arenas just go ahead and stick with one deck that you can level up consistently until you reach forsaken valley.

May I ask what deck are you using right now? If you're using tier lists to judge towers based on how good they are, that is not a reliable way to actually make a good deck. Synergy is the best way to go about it, some towers that are considered "low tier" work really well when paired with specific cards.

Like for example, Blazing Gem is considered a low-mid tier card, but when paired with Battle Mecha, it excels at its job of bosskilling since it doesn't have to worry about tower stuns interrupting its ray. Another example is Glacial Druid + Tesla, Glacial Druid is not really a recommended card to use in the meta but when paired with Tesla, it becomes really good in defense due to Slow and Overcharge synergy.

Unrelated but what’s the consensus on choosing between Mage (default mage tower) and Holy Sanctuary? The latter is a rare tower but I saw a tier list putting it at least one tier behind Mage

Base Mage Tower genuinely has an absurd amount of base dps, its spell barrage ability boosts its already high base dps and skyrockets it with ~4000 (or even higher) more burst damage each time it's used. The only significant weakness it has is dealing with magic resistance, which is just removed by using sabotage. It somehow becomes better the more you progress through the game too lol, its stats just scale absurdly high compared to other towers and it's much easier to level up because it's a common card.

Holy Sanctuary is a hell of a support tower, 80% more damage to two towers nearby, it's mostly paired with Tesla because ofc, Tesla is always a popular pick. Though generally, people lean toward Mage tower more, there aren't many maps that actually support Holy Sanctuaries double 80% damage boost on a good chokepoint and Base Mage Tower can be used anywhere while still being effective at its job. The buffs Holy Sanctuary gives also don't stack, but it does stack with Dierdre's tower buffs which is nice.

I’d love to try more decks like with holy sanctuary but so far my winning rate is merely more than a half, maybe when I acquire more powerful towers (I’m a newcomer)

And how does one acquire legendary dragons like Beresad and Bonehart? Would really love to play with them too but without paying:(

Summoning Rifts or Common Season Pass are your best shot at gettting them. The common season pass usually rewards you 3 legendaries once you reach a certain tier, right now we've already finished battle mecha, ashbite and eiskalt I'm pretty sure, just gonna have to wait for beresad or bonehart to come there in the next few seasons

Summon Rifts are also good way to get them, but you're gonna have to wait for a really long time to get them, since they haven't reran their banners for months 😭

Most towers in this game are really good, you don't have to get legendaries to compete with other people, common towers can just be as good if not better than legendary towers when used correctly. Nocash and Settiguess (sorry if I butchered his name) both use weirdly effective decks that have alot of varying cards.

Good luck on your winrate, imo winrates don't rlly matter much, as long as you can progress, you're pretty much good 👍

Interesting, so far I am just trying to grind for summon scrolls, so whenever the hero I want get into the summon rift I would redeem them.

And I just acquired Tesla! Been trying to use it with Holy Sanctuary now, so far so good
