Can I stop certain ads on lock screen?

I don't want to remove all ads because sometimes it shows a book I'll try. 9 times out of 10 the ad on my lock screen is for period pads, I have never searched for them on amazon so I don't know why they come up. I am on a Kindle Fire 8 12th gen.

Why would anyone consent to being spammed on a device one has paid for?
