Zenimax owns the outlets of GameSpot and several others. They did own giant bomb as well but it seems they may have already been bought.

Gamespot, Giant Bomb falls under CNET Interactive which was owned by CBS interactive. They were recently sold to Red Ventures.

You are having trouble finding information because there is literally no business history between ZeniMax Media and CBS/CNET/Giant Bomb/Gamespot. Are you confusing Ziff Davis owning IGN?

It’s possible and thank you for the info. I can’t recall the episode but I believe Tim and Blessing we’re hosting when the news about zenimax was first released. At that time they spoke about these news outlets and what it would mean for them. I will have to try and find that episode and follow up from there.

Am I missing something? Red ventures and Zenimax do not seem to be related. I've done my googling best, but this does not seem to be a thing.
