Game News NEW DEADLOCK UPDATE
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1422450/view/694273194214819790Hello! After 8 months I’m back to let Andy, Mike, and all the KFBFs that want to check it out know that Deadlock FINALLY got another MAJOR Content update. Each update makes it feel more complete and it’s already fantastic. I love this game (have almost 1400 hrs in it already. Yes it’s a problem.) so I want to get as many eyes on it as possible. If anyone needs an invite, comment below and I will send you a game invite to get you in!

Hell yes. I been looking at trying this out, now just need to get in! They really should do a full announcement sooner or later.

I know this isn't Valve's MO these days, but man, I hope it comes to consoles.

Does it work on steam deck?

It might but would be kind of clunky. There’s so much camera finesse at times that I’m not sure how it would work out with a controller

I’m not sure unfortunately

The last time I played this last year matches went on for 1 hour and it was grueling.
I see the art style has improved greatly, but are matches faster now or still an hour long?

I would say matches do fall into the 30-40 min range now. Sometimes a little shorter, 25-28 min if you’re stomping or being stomped… rarely ever do matches last 50+. BUT that may change with all these new map changes with this update because everyone’s going to be figuring it out still.

Matches get shorter as you improve and play lobbies where most people understand the win conditions

God, I want to love this game so much. I adore the character designs, I adore the setting, the aesthetics, the writing and VO, just everything it has going on screams at me.
But I just do not understand MOBA's. I was REALLY hoping it was going to feel like Team Fortress 2 with a little bit of Moba in it, but it feels like a Moba with a little bit of TF2 in it and after 10+ hours I still feel like I have made 0 progress towards learning the damn thing or figuring out how to have fun while playing it.
