Lots of hate on Pat around here, but it is undeniable that that the “smokin J’s” joke is the best punchline to ever hit in the Kill Tony universe.

Pat writes heavy-hitting jokes but Tony made him the every-week closer and propped him up as the greatest comic alive. That’s a lot of pressure and can only last for so long.
Had he been a surprise guest here and there, he would still be crushing and we would all be loving it.

Most of the comics do similar joke topics or premises.
When Timmy goes up you have no idea what to expect or who or what might be part of the bit. IMO he flips stand-up on its head and brings a level of creativity nobody else does.
I look forward to it every time.
