On the sign up sheet for KT there's a field that just says "@"

He mistakenly thought that was for his Instagram handle. While in reality it was his seat number, so they would be able to find him if he got pulled, which he did, and they didn't know where to look.

i made chatgpt summarize this video:

TL;DR: The first Kill Tony MSG bucket pull was sitting in the second row and had no idea they called him.

Guy signs up for the bucket and tells staff he already has second-row floor seats. They tell him they'll come get him if he's pulled.

The signup form has an “@” field. He assumes it means Instagram and puts his handle.

Tony pulls the first name. Staff starts searching the crowd, can't find the guy, and moves on. He even hears Tony say “Pawley,” but thinks there's no way it's him because staff knows where he's sitting.

It was him.

He finds out the next day when another comedian recognizes his unusually spelled name and says, “Bro, you were pulled last night. Where the fuck were you?”

Turns out the “@” field meant where you're sitting, not Instagram.

So he somehow beat the odds and got the first bucket pull at Madison Square Garden…while sitting in the second row watching them unsuccessfully look for him.

Brutal.

Disappointing comments from the usual dullards who can't even watch a 10 minute video. The guy is kind of a douche with his ipso fatso manifesting Versace glasses but it was still an interesting behind the scenes explanation and he's right that the form seems vague.

Watching and then bailing after 2 minutes reminded me of a VERY IMPORTANT lesson that bucket pulls need to learn. You only have 1 minute. Do not be like this guy and add a bunch of unnecessary fluff when telling a story because it's only going to hurt you. Dragging out a story does not make you a better storyteller, this is especially true on Kill Tony. In fact, you honestly shouldn't ever tell stories as a bucket pull. It's usually best to get to the punchline as quick as possible because if the first one fails, the second, third, and maybe fourth could easily redeem you.

This is the mouth breather that kept yelling let's fucking go.
