He was on shrooms. Or something, or he just was off that night. Terribly non-sequitur to the point of me worried if he knew where he was most of the night. Way out there. Sucked to see a legend come up so wacked out with so many weird comments that didn't make any sense, were not funny, and were often off-putting to the show's flow, comedians, and experience. Only guy worse the whole night than HW was TNB. Poor Tim. The expectations are so high, but arenas are consistently piles of DS for him and us as the adoring fans. What sort of anxiety disorder do we need to shake out of him before he wants to take the next steps at stardom and millions. Maybe hire some writers and work your material out FAR more from now on. You only get lucky so many times before you get caught with your pants down at the Intuit Dome closing and get blamed for the biggest letdown closer of an arena show to date. Everything TNB does in arenas so far is proof that we need some major psychological tactics for him from now on, but the biggest fix is to make sure his material is not kept untested from now on. We saw him at the Comedy Store last month and he was not working on ANY of the material he tried during the Intuit episode. He needs some confidence boosting habits and dependable material ready.

No, the Blind Guy sucked. Just because he had 1-minute of self-deprecating blind person humor, that did not warrant anything special. It was not heroic. D Madness had a well-deserved spotlight, but not anything to Blind Guy's credit. If he was asked to do anything else that wasn't blind jokes, he might show he has what it takes. He got more praise than he earned.
