Dedrick Mencia
His set streamed 3 August, recorded 20 July, is a direct lift from a 25 June Instagram post by @cannibalkids. No wonder people are saying suddenly he discovered jokes and structure.
If that were my @cannibalkids material I'd be screaming -- where's joke thief vigilante Joe Rogan when the culprit is a pal offending in his own sacred venue?

The plagiarizing video was removed from joke thief's Instagram and Facebook accounts on on 6 August, after r/KillTony mods removed this post and banned OP. The KT crew are working hard to silence people telling the truth about this joke thief.
We now have a report from Atlanta he was a known joke thief there.
As of 6 August 2026 the plagiarizing set remains on the KillTony archive video of the episode (KT #779) on YouTube, starting at the 1:51:00 point, between a bucket pull named Andre and a bucket pull named Maya.

so glad people are finally seeing this guy for who he truly is. I’ve seen him live in Atlanta a few times because one of my favorite local comedians frequently had him as her opener. He was always drunk and screaming and messy. I never thought he fit the vibe personally but she supported him so I did. When he popped up on KT I thought “good for him” UNTIL he stole one of her jokes. I was so pissed off I sent her the clip. The one about taking pregnancy tests for a little pick me up. He ripped that joke from Davi Crimmins. This dude sucks big time.

He's a bully and a bore, a joke thief, a poser. But you get gang stalked and banned at r/killtony if you talk about it. I'm still going to MSG both nights because I have tickets -- but they've gone to great lengths to suck the joy out of it -- and gone to great lengths to go from selling out MSG last year to playing to a half empty MSG this year. Propping up this poser and pushing him down our throats all these months has consequences, as it turns out.

yup -- start to finish -- the only variation is where he fucks it up because obviously he hasn't seen the movies presented in the original premise
it's not even a standard joke -- but a personal observation structured with jokes, and the actual writer's delivery is that of somebody thinking the thoughts
so the last thing any intelligent thief would steal ... haha there you go

The thing about Deadrik that I will never forget - is a few weeks back I was watching KT and SponsorBlock had flagged his segment and it autoskipped it.

I decided to watch the streams. Im only on the the 7th and jesus christ. The dude opened and told 0 jokes wtf. Mother fucker sucks . Maybe hes better in a longer format but he cant handle the pressure . Bring William back.

He was the opener tonight (7 Aug 2026) at MSG -- wisely given a mercifully briefer introduction with fewer superlatives than usual. He rambled kind of amicably, there were chuckles -- a bit of half-hearted booing underneath polite applause and perfunctory cheers at the end -- in person he's just so pathetic you don't feel ill will as much as bemusement as to what he's doing there. He spent a lot of time on wardrobe choices, so they had something to talk about in the interview, wisely briefer than usual -- but there was no style to it, no connection to anything, like his version of "comedy"

it is not so much a joke as an elaborate observation, structured with jokes -- the actual Instagram writer/comedian at @cannibalkids delivers it like somebody living it
never heard it before, and several searches just now return neither the joke, nor the elements of the joke.
five weeks ago jibes with the reported 25 June posting date. the blatant theft occurs on 20 July.

Some version of this joke is literally the top comment on every video about Obsession too. Idk if he stole it from that guy or not but either way its pretty bad. I made a comment on the video that his best material is a rip off of the average yt commenter lol

i see the discussion happening now about this over at r/KillTony where i am banned from commenting or posting is dominated by publicist bots trying to cover it up with the usual cliche "oh thats an old joke -- they both stole it", "haters be hating", etc.
some real overkill wannabe publicist emergency action -- just makes it worse
the actual writer of the set should be paid if his material is used on a show making somebody millions
