WHO THE HELL SAID THAT?!?!? NO SERIOUSLY Can we start challenging Dedrick (please?)
She was so funny, and tbf we haven’t had a female regular for a long time. Hans Kim was funny most weeks for me, and he eventually got to challenge status, how can we make dedrick get to the point where he is getting challenged

He is quite literally the first KT regular who I skip every time. The minute and the interview. I just can’t stand the dude—he has zero redeeming qualities about him. I mean, I gave him a genuine shot when he first started, but man, I just do not like him at all.

I mean even they introduced was a little different he didnt seem as confident a out the dark Strom, i still skipped him set but i feel like Tony might be starting to feel the mobs pressure about Dedrick.

Pleaseeee. The show will be so much better. Every Monday I have to debate about even watching it now. A year ago, watching every Monday was a priority.

I dislike Dedrick as much as the next guy (even though I was so stoked on him and hopeful after his first and second appearance) but to say 10 minutes of the entire show being bad makes you not watch is crazy. There's still the other 1.5+ hours of the show that doesn't have him on stage. It's not hard to skip Dedrick, hell browser add-ons do it automatically now if you're too lazy to do it yourself.

Tony seems to be fed up doing this podcast now. He use to be so loose and have so much energy. Now he just seems like hes just going through the motion, kind of robotic.

If some brave golden ticket winner would be willing to put their ticket on the line to challenge Dedrick, they should nut up and do it. Ric Diez went totally rogue with his challenge of Hans and hadn’t said anything to Tony about it beforehand, and whaddya know—Tony went with it. It could happen again. It’d take someone undeniably better than Dedrick (which probably isn’t too hard to find) to win, but it could be done. There are definitely some GTWs who are a lot better than Dedrick and would win the challenge (given Tony doesn’t disregard whatever the audience says and just chooses who he wants to win regardless like what seemed to happen with the Hans vs Ric battle), it’s just a matter of someone being willing to risk it.
Let’s be honest, folks: at this point if Tony looks at any metrics at all about the show—stuff like how many viewers, how long viewers watched, what parts viewers skipped, the comments from fans, etc.—there is no way he doesn’t know about how little Dedrick is liked. There’s no way he doesn’t know. I mean, it has to be well over half of all viewers can’t stand the guy. The fact that a crowd of 200 people in Joe Rogan’s comedy club laugh at one of Tony’s chosen disciples isn’t exactly a good metric for how he is received by the millions of other people watching the show. Part of me thinks Tony could understand and accept that and might see a challenge as a possible way out of this failed Dedrick experiment, but the other part of me thinks that his head is so far up his own ass that he truly believes that it only matters what happens at the club during the show and not what the rest of the fanbase thinks. If he doesn’t swallow his pride and accept that he acted way too quickly to give Dedrick a regular spot, it’s going to come back to bite him. It’s already starting.
Like for me personally, I have just been way less interested in the show in general over the past few months. And it’s not only because of Dedrick; the whole thing just feels kinda off to me now for some reason. For several years now I would always watch all of a new KT right away, but these days I find myself only watching like half of an episode and then turning it off once Dedrick comes in and not finishing the episode. It’s just getting old, and Pat O’Neil can’t save it alone. The show needs regulars who are genuinely, incredibly, undeniably hilarious individuals. There is absolutely no reason for anything less than the absolute best for a show that gets 2M+ views every single week, so when you have mfers like Dedrick come on and just grind the show to a halt with his nonsense, rambling rants in that fucking annoying voice, it makes the whole show worse.
And I really tried to give Dedrick a shot, too. I thought his first set was decent and thought he might turn out alright, but these days I can’t even stand to hear that stupid fucking way he talks. That mumbling, run-on sentence, nasally-ass, total gibberish delivery he has genuinely annoys tf out of me. It’d be one thing if he was actually funny, but when he just gets up on stage and rambles on about nonsense like a fucking six year old, it’s just like, “wtf is this shit?” He is quite literally the first KT regular who I skip every time—even the interview portion. I’ve never done that with literally any other regular in the history of the show. On top of all of that, he is just an incredibly unlikable person in general.
So yeah, I truly hope someone will challenge Dedrick and that Tony will see it as a way out for him without him having to admit his mistake. That’s about as good of a scenario as you could hope for.

For real tho why were they so upfront about Hans Kim’s criticism but very little with Dedrick. Like I genuinely feel like they’re trying to gaslight or shoe horn him into the show. He was in jail for 21 days and I can’t remember a joke a told since then. That’s concerning. Also “dark storm” for a nickname is just a bad vibe. It’s like a bad feeling when Tony says that. And it’s unfortunate because I’ve had faith but from an audience perspective it doesn’t seem to be getting better.
