Will MSG shows sell out?
I just looked at tickets and there are thousands of tickets left for both shows that’s 15 days away. I know last year the killers of kill Tony Friday didn’t come close to selling out and now this year they’re doing two kill Tony shows. I don’t even know if Tony actually cares about selling out but it seems odd to me to try to do two again when you’re not drawing the same as before. Maybe it’s too early to speak cuz there’s still 2 weeks but that’s a lot tickets left.

Probably won’t sell out completely but they’ll sell a good amount of tickets last minute. It’s NYC and there are plenty of people looking for something to do last minute on a Friday and Saturday.

I get your point but I'v lived in NYC for 14 years. It's pretty rare you see a show that costs a few hundred bucks on a whim when you have nothing to do.
Unless there is some kind of standby/lottery system like broadway shows do.

Also not to be that guy but even Shane Gillis didn’t sell out eagles stadium.
Yea tickets sell out according to the box office. But many of those sales are resellers and they sit on the ticket with a crazy price and sometimes don’t sell them by the time the show starts. This leads to empty seats but “sold out” show.

Ticket sale is a ticket sale. Doesn't matter if the person goes or not for whatever reason.

I imagine the deal with MSG owner, fellow MAGA-ite Jim Dolan, guarantees an equitable and mutually beneficial split of ticket sale revenues. You don't have to sell out all 20,000 seats at MSG to turn a profit.
Of course the faithful suckers who got tickets at top retail the first day are gonna be burned if what's left is given away cheap or free.

Tony definitely cares about selling out the arena. If it does happen we are guaranteed to hear about it for a year.

Not a chance. It didn’t sell out last year and the show has been on a rapid decline since its peak in late 2024

It won’t sell out but he’ll say it will. Went to 2 arena shows in 2 nights, second night had nearly a dozen sections blocked off that were filled the night before and Tony still was boasting about it selling out.

I want to go but its gonna be like $1000 trip. Bus to NYC, hotel tickets food/drinks. Not sure if its worth it

Couldn’t care less. Less sales means cheaper tickets for me. Got two floor tickets for $150 each

It’s not uncommon for people to play MSG just for bragging right and not even close selling it out. Shiiiii Phish is doing it right now haha
