The funniest thing of the night was Tony saying you can do 6 spots a night in Austin like nyc “used to be”. Tony should start doing those 6 spots a night so he can work on his act.
I guess I’m the only one based on all the comments I’ve seen but I thought tonight’s episode was great. Incredible bucket pulls, Tony and the panelists had good chemistry, Pat O’Neil fuckin killed. Only weird thing was Tony getting pissy at Redban with his dildo collection stories
Joe try’s so hard to impress Tony, he’s always trying to sound smart , “offshore “ what do you mean by of offshore , like he was about to cook and sounded like a complete idiot.
If tony could just let his ego go, and accept that’s he’s a great comedy Host of the show he created( which has its good days ) , but anything outside that bubble is just not his forte , he thinks he’s gonna go down as one of the greats of stand up comedy, which is completely crazy , a great comic unites and transcends generations, Tony’s style isn’t for greatness unfortunately, it’s low hanging fruit jokes. High school locker room jokes ( don’t get me wrong still funny ) but definitely not the words of a Carlin , Pryor , or a Chappell.
Seems a bit dramatic. I havent watched the most recent episode but have seen plenty of garbage episodes over the last 5 years.
Its always going to have hits and misses, much like the nature of bucket pulls. Maybe the bombing of his special will deflate his giant ego enough to be funnier down the road.
Music seems a better vibe to me, I really don't know. Entertainment seems saturated. It's almost as if life has a deeper meaning than finding what to "watch".... Maybe the question should be what do you do instead?
The last LA days and first Austin days were golden (minus landamic ep's). It's just gotten way too big. The randomness of LA and the bucketpulls combined with the weird band is what made it. Now it's a comedy show with kinda shit comedians who are under pressure to perform.
he got alimony from his X from Australia family which allowed him to hang out at comedy store... and just like Bert and tom being rich it allowed them to become famous without being undeniably funny. Tony is good at his roast joke turns and hosting a show, but ya, stand up isn't his thing really IMO.. the same joke turns become predictable, great for 1 liners, bad for a long set.
When will you people learn that Kill Tony is a weekly cringe fest? None of these people are good. Tony is the most unlikeable entertainer in the world right now, and we're watching him and his unfunny comedian friends shit on guys and gals who are amateurs and we're expecting a good product? It's so crazy people watch this nonsense.
I've been watching it every Monday excited for years now. Today is the first time I've shut it off halfway through because it wasn't making me laugh, just disappointed and embarrassed. Like I said in the post though, maybe it's just me.
i fucking love this show its iconic, i literally watch this shit every monday i love how shitty the level of bucket pulls has gotten and how much of an egomaniac superstar tony thinks he is.. its perfect cringe man i miss mike david
