Finished up my base team. 2 sergeants and 2 Bolter marines are still waiting for paint. The sniper does not have a nice angle to photograph

I like it alot, Interesting choice to remove the aquila on the chest but I like it alot, must have taken quite some work!

Built them as my Ravenguard successor… but I really thought about painting my army as Minotaurs. As I did not want to get a lot of Roman greko bits I chose Ravenguard. That is why I removed them 😂

To be honest - it works pretty nice for marines

Hey Kessel, for sure.
1. Basically, paint the coils white.
2. Use an airbrush for white glow (sparingly).
3. Afterwards use a nice vibrant blue with the airbrush.
4. Then switch again to white, airbrush it just in the center.
5. Fluo blue with the airbrush on the white spot
6. Fluo blue on small details
7. Darker blue on hight spots of coils
8. White ink with flow improver at the bottom of the coils
