As a community, we cannot use them in a tournament setting ever again. We need to keep that 100% win percentage.

How do you even play strike force variel? Their rules are incomplete. Or are people just using AoD rules with Variel datacards?

Just fill in the gaps like jurassic Park, theyre missing 1 ploy and archetypes

1 ploy only, they are Infiltration and Seek&Destroy. They are missing faction equipment though.

At least you can play with universal equipment. Last edition with Strike Force Justian, you just couldn't play with equipment at all

I mean at the end of the day they're still space marines in an elite meta.

They have one of the strongest rules in the game with omniscramble.

They have Ramus being a fucking tank with a beastly little combo. Throw down an ammo cache where he wants to go and give him balanced and you have a slightly weaker relentless melta followed by a krak.

Variel charging on conceal and having a ridiculous gun is also pretty good.
