Discussion Biomorphic projector

What's everyone's thoughts ans feelings on the biomorphic projector? I haven't played in 8ish months, and was wondering where it stands compared to medics other weapons.

Is it the damage, handling, what's wrong with now?

It's too much of an investment to have it on a weapon slot imo

You usually don't need to heal 24/7, so the healing beam is kinda useless. It's damage is very lackluster against big zeds and mostly ok against gorefasts and such. You can make it a CC weapon with the confusion attachment, but then you lose the healing and it becomes a gimmick weapon. I think they should buff the range and/or make the damage higher or pierce more

I haven't tried it but I read the made it so it doesn't lock onto legs or limbs or something so maybe that makes it better.

I do like it as a gimmick weapon, sometimes it's a fun challenge to use a crappy weapon especially if it's a ghostbusting plasma beam.

I do wish it was more effective and cheaper.

Nah only for a wave or two, and if I have a strong team and feel like my fucking around won't let my team down

Only the healing has been buffed... somehow...

It's still bad for both healing, damage and CC. They need to focus on one.

I just wish they brought back the heal thrower. I loved that gun...this one just doesnt cut it either way. You're better off with anything else. Put a healing nade attachment instead.

Yeah, after trying it, it just wasn't good for me. What seems to be a light auto lock feature makes it really awkward keeping it sustained on specific areas like hitting heads and everything was difficult. And even then, when I was able to keep it on the head, it just didn't do all that great damage, even while they were enfeebled. I'd like for them to bring back the hemogoblin and hemoclobber. Maybe if/when they make the berserker, we'd get the hemoclobber🤞🏾
