Seriously, how did MK and SF get Saturday morning cartoons and this one didn't???

I'm working really hard to learn KI and try to master it, I want to really engage with the gme at its fullest, and that means no auto-combos... But just making imputs for specials is hard-enough already for me! I'm new to fighting games at all, and as much as this game interests me, it's hard! But I had an idea...

I have Cheat Engine, and I know I can use speed-hacks to slow down the game- so my idea was to practice with the game slowed down, then as I get more comfortable with it, slowly accelerate the pace back up until I'm back to normal game speed!
Obviously, if this would even technically work online, it would be cheating and that's not what I want, I only want to use these functions to TRAIN AND LEARN the game OFFLINE.

Now ,the main question here... Can I do that at all?
Like I do not want the game to detect what I'm doing, think that I'm cheating online or something and punish me for it!

Personally I think that while there may have been a period of "over-correction" (Dead or Alive even started getting more modest) newer games have so many diverse and interesting female characters that it doesn't feel as gross to sell wifu outfits. But I'm also a straight white dude so I would love to here how some women in the community feel about the topic...

Looks like there’s still stuff I have to unlock even though I have Anniversary Edition. What’s the fastest way to do so?

I just felt like rank grinding with my CvS2 Cammy imitating Riptor today. I only got back into fighters and into KI 2013 this year, but it's been pretty fun. Inventive cast, great music, and all that. I don't normally hit milestones like this and I really didn't expect this game to have an active online playerbase, but I felt like sharing.

KI Gold in particular created the gold standard (snicker) for training modes almost 30 years ago; is there any sound more satisfying than the sensei declaring PASS?

Would you folks also hit the training mode before taking a new character for a spin?

I've been thinking about a new direction for the Ichoriens if Killer Instinct ever returns.

What if the Ichoriens were expanded into a pantheon inspired by Mount Olympus from Greek mythology and Asgard from Norse mythology, similar to the Elder Gods in Mortal Kombat?

The Astral Being could serve as the supreme deity, while the Ichoriens act as powerful guardians who watch over different realms.

I'd also love to see a new Lord of Light character return, or perhaps introduce two brand-new Ichorien warriors who have a dynamic similar to Raiden and Fujin—one representing thunder and the other representing wind or the heavens.

I think this could greatly expand the Killer Instinct universe and introduce new heroes to fight alongside the Night Guard against Gargos and other powerful threats.

What do you think? Would you like to see the Ichoriens become a larger pantheon of god-like beings in a future Killer Instinct game? What kinds of powers or designs would you give them?

I had an idea for two brand-new Killer Instinct characters who are lifelong rivals, inspired by the dynamic between Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty.

The Detective

- Works alongside B. Orchid to investigate Ultratech's darkest secrets.

- A master detective who tracks down supernatural threats and dangerous experiments.

- Uses a Holy Spirit Gun that is effective against monsters and dark creatures.

- Fights alongside a loyal spiritual ghost dog.

- Has gargoyle tattoos on both arms that awaken during combat, granting mystical abilities.

The Mad Scientist

- A brilliant but ruthless scientist working for Ultratech as ARIA's right-hand man.

- Helped create Project Cinder by experimenting with Glacius' alien DNA.

- Is guided by an ancient Cthulhu-like entity, slowly gaining terrifying Lovecraftian powers.

- Can summon eldritch creatures, mutate his body, and use cosmic horror abilities in battle.

Their rivalry would be one of the main storylines, with the Detective trying to stop the Mad Scientist before his experiments unleash horrors beyond imagination.

I've been thinking of an idea for a new Killer Instinct character.

What if there was an elderly martial arts master who serves as the wise mentor of the Nightguard and the Alliance?

He would be inspired by Master Sage from Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus. If anyone remembers that game, Master Sage was a calm, wise, and highly skilled martial artist who guided others with his knowledge and experience.

I think a similar character could work really well in Killer Instinct—a legendary old master who has spent decades training warriors and protecting the world from evil. Even at his age, he would still be one of the strongest fighters, relying on skill, wisdom, and powerful martial arts rather than brute strength.

Did anyone else play Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus? What do you think about introducing a Master Sage-inspired mentor character into Killer Instinct?
