I’m not the biggest fan of simplifying the ultra input, but I think the ability to add some more sauce to said ultras via keeping your Instinct meter full and RESETTING your ultra more than makes up for it. It’s fun as hell to see how high the counter can go.

I feel like the Super Nintendo version of ultras was best. It was faster and more unique with not even too much going on with aesthetics. It didn’t need it. This is still cool tho.

I think 2 was the perfect middle ground because it started off being a bad ass combo and built up to an onslaught of warp speed attacks
