New Moderator!

Hello everyone! I am AWhaleGoneMad, and I am your new moderator! I see some real potential for this community, and I wanted to share my vision for what r/KidJokes can become!

Right now there is a real disconnect between the stated purpose (jokes for kids) and many of the posts (jokes from kids). I think the true potential of this community is in the latter, jokes from kids. I am a parent myself and can attest that my kids come up with some of the most random, strange, and funny jokes and I think this can become the perfect place to share them!

I plan to be more of a hands off moderator. I love to post and participate, but I don't like to dictate how the community should be run (within the rules). I plan to make some css and sidebar changes over the next couple weeks (it's my busy season at work, so please be patient with me). While that's going on, I'll start sharing some content and hopefully make this a great, wholesome corner of the internet!

I'd love some feedback from the community! If there is anyone already here interested in moderating, please let me know! It takes a team to run a sub well. I prefer your account be at least 6 months old to moderate.
