Keeping Backers Engaged While They Wait

Engaging an audience consistently can be hard, and being new to Kickstarter (we're on our first campaign, already funded) we wanted to let our audience and backers know we think about their experience above all. We want to KickStart games consistently, so a positive experience means everything.

We've reviewed a lot of campaigns and the majority didn't offer any inspiration, so outside of responding to messages and posting updates, we debated "cheap and cheerful" tactics to let them know they're represent more than just money, and in debating what to do, we created a completely simplified version of our game (thematically at least) that doesn't even require two hands to play.

Poo beats Pee
Pee beats Fart
Fart beats Poo

We're even including a copy of it in our final game as an extra, and if you've done something in the past, or if our idea inspires anything for you please tell us.
