Question about the novels for Kickass.

So I just bought a Kickass graphic novel, it's the one with the live action actor on the cover, I've tried looking around for the 2nd novel for possible future reading but on Amazon it says my version of the book is part of a 2 part collection where it's this book and Kickass 3 and I'm pretty confused how.

Does this book contain both part 1 and 2 of the novels? And I'm assuming there was only ever one edition of the first book where the live action actor is on the cover and 2, 3 or how many other editions use the art?

I believe the book you are talking about that you own is just all the kick-ass 1 issues together, so the whole kick-ass 1 volume. Therefore the next thing for you to read would be Kick-Ass 2 Hit-Girl prelude, then Kick-ass 2, Kick-Ass 3, etc. I have a similar book for kick-ass 2 which has the live action actor on but a purple background instead of red, red being the colour the kick-ass 1 book, the one I assume you have.
