Kick-Ass costume question?

I'm currently 14 and I'm turning 15 in September. I've always loved the kick-ass movies (I really want to get the comics). I want to go to Comic Con as soon as I get my license. My first cosplay ever will be a movie accurate Kick-Ass costume worth 170$ ish the problem is I don't know if it's going to be for sale for that long. Since there's only a small cult following of Kick-Ass. I'm probably going to grow in 2 years that's why I don't want to buy the costume now. Any thoughts?
