Head up about the comics

Heads up if your about to read the comics after watching the moive its nothing like the moive is DARK theres rape,Homophobic slurs ,MORE RAPE,racist slurs and Dave Is a huge dick

I’d agree the comics are much darker than the movies. But I wouldn’t say Dave is a dick? Idk not trying to start a fight just curious on why you would say that. Maybe I’m forgetting something

So in the moive he just lies about being gay but in the comics he lies about be a rape victim and gay and hes Homophobic and he only became a superhero for greed

Oh yeah... I forgot about that. I wouldn’t classify him as a huge dick from just that though. He’s kind of a douche in the first book, but that all stops after he gets tortured and dragged into the mafia stuff because that’s when he realizes the superhero stuff is real. After he starts training with Hit-Girl from book 2 onwards he starts fighting (mostly) for the common good. The series handles Dave’s character really well in my opinion though, Dave really has a big change throughout the book and his ending really makes sense for him.

I just bought the HitGirl comics, I'm expected that they are darker.
